The Problem Statement
Finding a parking spot on campus that is close by and safe can be both a difficult and time-consuming task and thus impact the users' experience at the destination. These issues can be significantly alleviated by designing an app to help students find parking and educate them on parking etiquette and safety when walking to and from their vehicles.

The Parked.In App
The problem identified is the issue of finding parking, specifically at tertiary education campuses, and its influence on a student's experience at the institution.
According to the U.S. Today article by Kevin McCoy (2017), drivers spend an average of 17 hours per year looking for parking spots on streets, in lots, or in garages.
A mobile app was designed to assist students in finding parking at their designated campus. The app that will be designed will not only help students find parking but educate them on good parking etiquette and inform them of safety procedures when walking to and from their vehicles.
