The brief required me to create an interactive ordering system for a slow food restaurant in Adobe XD. For the brief, I also had to gather insights from user research and analysis, create personas and wireframes, and use these methods to demonstrate the UX process from the start of research to the delivery of the final product.
I designed the online ordering system for a "health" restaurant serving smoothies, cold-pressed juices, acai bowls, and fruit. The restaurant will receive its stock from local farmers and harvest fruits and vegetables from its own garden for its menu. The restaurant will also approach local fruit and vegetable shops, buy produce that is about to expire, and free them to use in their smoothies. Smoothie packs with precut fruit that is frozen will also be available for purchase to the customers.
The restaurant aims to provide healthy fresh food and drinks to the public and provide its customers with a pleasant experience. Another goal is to reduce food wastage by approaching local fruit and vegetable shops, buying produce that is about to expire, and using it (within health code regulations).
The restaurant is called Backyard Blends, blends linking to smoothies and backyard relating to the fruit and vegetables grown in the restaurant's backyard.
